A quick weekend trip to Denver, Colorado on the first of September to celebrate Sara's 69th birthday! Airfare and hotel were compliments of Stan Frenzel ( Sara's friend ). Lots of good food and shopping in a short amount of time. Always a challenge to take Vic on an airplane due to his dementia....actually only a few mishaps this time around. His socks disappeared while we were going through airport security...discovered when he went to put on his mis-matched shoes. Socks were discovered in the trash basket at the beginning of the LONG line. Shoes had actually matched at one point before we left home...I must have turned my back. After we arrived I discovered that I had left all of Vic's very important meds at home. We placed frantic calls for help to Amy (Dr. McKerrow ) and Michelle ( Dr. Donaldson ) and got that issue resolved. We had a very nice time with Sara and Stan. Thank you Stan and Happy Birthday Sara...you look like you are 49!!!!
